About Kotsinas Beach

Kotsinas Beach in northern Limnos is one of the busiest and most easily accessible. It has shallow waters, ideal for families with small children. The beach of Kotsina is fully organized and has in addition to umbrellas and sunbeds, beach bar. Next to Kotsina beach is the picturesque anchorage with the fishing boats. There you will also find taverns with excellent local dishes and of course local wine to accompany your food. At one end of the closed bay at Kotsina beach is the church of Zoodochos Pigi with its underground holy water. Also there in the port dominates the statue of Maroula, the local heroine. Around the church you will see the ruins of the once thriving, medieval castle of Kotsina. Access to Kotsina beach is via a paved road that reaches the sea.
